He also served his country in the United States Marines, where he served for ten years and served two tours in Vietnam. He is survived by his sons James Johnson Jr. & Jacob Johnson of Diboll, Zacheri James Johnson & Zacheus James Johnson of Newton, and Zarriun Kenebrew of Newton; a special friend Alicia Kenebrew of Newton; a daughter Ebony Robinson of Buna; brothers Marvin Hafford & wife Ana of Salt Lake City, Utah and Darryl Johnson & wife Krystal of Wharton; sisters Darcella Armstrong of Vinton, Louisiana, Juanita Johnson of Fort Worth, and Lisa Johnson of Jasper; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Helen and Gene shared 39 years together before she preceded him in her heavenly homecoming. Lois is survived by her husband of 55 years, Rayburn; son Troy Williford and wife Missy of Saratoga; daughter Kimberley Williford Gill and husband Brian of Jasper; daughter-in-law Tracey Gilcrease Williford; sister, Johnnie Terrell Jacks of Orange, Texas; brother, Ray Terrell and wife Linda of Orangefield, Texas; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Judith (Judi) Coleman and their daughters Melissa Capps & husband Jeremy of Tennessee, Geneva Danna & husband Carmello Jr. of Lumberton, Patricia Bengston & husband Kenny of Village Mills, and Tammy Hulsey & husband David of Orange; stepdaughters Denise Rush & husband Mark of Beaumont and Karen Mirrone of Indiana; a stepson Albert Wood of Dallas; grandchildren Ethan, Emily, Ellie & Everly Capps, Carmello, Crystal & Joshua Danna, John Robert Patterson, Theron, Trevor, Taylor, & Dayla Hulsey, Keith Prohn, Ryan Hicks, and Steven Wood; great grandchildren Michael Wood, Tyler Danna, Dominick Danna, Chelsie Danna, Ohna Danna, Micayle Danna, Joshua Danna, Rubi Danna & Lyla Grace Patterson; as well as great great grandchildren Delilah Danna, Benjamen Danna & Christopher Moore.
